Curate a part of the (un)Conference

The E2A (un)Conference will host 18 curated workshops across the two days. The workshops will focus on the theme of the (Un)Conference ‘for the love of community engagement’, and will ensure delegates learn, discover and share experiences of community engagement. 

We invite you to express an interest in hosting a curated workshop. Workshop guidelines, the selection criteria and process for submitting an expression of interest are below.


Each curated workshop will be 50 minutes in length

The workshops will be designed for between 20 and 50 delegates

The workshops will focus on ‘for the love of community engagement’ and create space for peer-to-peer learning, collaboration and creativity

As the discussion leader, you are invited to design the theme and structure of your workshop, for example they could be a:

Facilitated discussion
Walking tour
World Café

How to express an interest

To express your interest in facilitating a curated workshop please provide the following information by COB Friday 21 July 2017. Responses should be emailed to

1.     Facilitators name/s

2.     Organisation (if applicable)

3.     Contact details (phone number and email address)

4.     Workshop title/theme

5.     Ideal number of participants

6.     Summary of your workshop (300-words) in your response please include:
a.     Workshop objectives
b.     How it responds to the theme of the (un)Conference
c.     Workshop outcomes

7.     Materials and resources required (for example projector, screen, tables, chairs)
